Ubisense has announced dates for its myWorld Meetup in 2017, following a hugely successful event last November that attracted some of the biggest names in utilities and communications. At the 2016 event, delegates heard presentations from Ubisense employees as well as myWorld customers including Duke Energy, TELUS and Cox Communications and were offered a series of product training sessions. When asked to rate the overall event, 65% of delegates surveyed gave the myWorld Meetup top marks (5 out of 5), with the remaining 35% giving the event a 4 out of 5. Ubisense will be attending the International Paris Airshow, the largest air and space show in the world, with partner Bosch Rexroth to showcase their joint tool and control solution. Launched last year for aerospace assembly lines, the joint offering combines Bosch Rexroth’s Nexo Cordless Nutrunner and Ubisense’s Smart Factory solutions to offer real-time tracking of tools (Tool Location) and tightening operations (Tool Control). Ubisense offers in-depth knowledge of the aerospace sector, having worked with Airbus for more than seven years. Now in its 52nd Year, the event is organised by the SIAE, a subsidiary of GIFAS, the French Aerospace Industries Association, and attracts the major players from across the aerospace sector seeking the latest technological innovations.
