Overview

Ubisense AngleID fills the gap between RFID/Barcode Proximity tracking and Real-time Location Systems (RTLS) location tracking by providing real-time zone tracking. Many problems which cannot be solved by proximity tracking can be solved simply with real-time zone tracking which tells you precisely which space a tag is in without the high infrastructure requirements of RTLS.

  • Setup in less than 10 minutes
Intuitive click and drag interface allows AngleID to be set up easily, removing the need for a technical expert or extensive training program.

  • Zone based location
Define up to eight zones per AngleID and report when tags enter and exit each. Combine up to three AngleID's together for even more flexibility.

  • Works in metallic environments
Place tags on metal surfaces and read them reliably and accurately, even in complex moving industrial and logistics environments.

Industrial Tag

#

Designed for use in harsh industrial environments, the Industrial Tag also comes with a GPS option.  At a 1 Hz update rate the battery should last over 10 years.

Tool Tag

#

Elegantly designed to fit on industrial tools but still tough enough to survive every day use.  This modular tag can also be separated and connected using a cable for more flexible mounting options.

Use Cases

  • Digital Tool Tether

    Problem
Untethered DC Tools are a quality control risk

    Solution
Lock cordless tools to a zone using AngleID

    Result
Cordless tools can be safely used across a plant

    Dock Door Monitoring

    Problem
Reliable cost effective detection of trailers

    Solution
AngleID covers multiple docks with single sensor

    Result
Improved dock usage and logistics efficiency
